Transportation
Southside Academy Charter School provides bus transportation according to the specifications of the Syracuse City School District Department of Transportation.
Parents are expected to provide the means for their children to get to and from school if busing is not available. If you need any help or have questions, we're here to support you! Use the contact us form below and we'll get back with you shortly.
Busing
Transportation eligibility and cost is determined on the basis of the student's grade level and the distance between the student's residence and school.

Drop-off and Pick-up
Help keep arrival and dismissal safe and efficient by following our drop-off and pick-up procedures each school day.
Drop-Off & Pick-Up Times
Drop-off: 6:55–7:15 a.m.
Pick-up: 1:50–2:00 p.m.
What Families Need to Know
- Enter from Onondaga Creek Blvd. entrance only.
- Drive slowly and watch for students and families.
- Be patient and courteous to other drivers.
- Do not use your cell phone while driving through the parking lot.
- If you need to speak with a teacher, park and visit the school office rather than stopping during the dismissal process.
