Southside Academy Adds Graduation Rings

Southside Academy eighth-grade students are the first students in National Heritage Academies history to add graduation class rings to their graduation celebrations. The scholars recently assembled to get fitted for their graduation caps and gowns and had a ring sizing for the new graduation rings.

“We have decided to include graduation rings as part of a symbol of all the students’ hard work," said Chrystal Guarasci, middle school dean at Southside Academy.

Southside scholars are thrilled to be the first school to offer this achievement milestone and they are looking forward to obtaining their rings in the June graduation ceremony. Graduation is always a special time for our scholars and these rings highlight all the hard work and dedication they have put into their education.

“The scholars at Southside are both excited and motivated to obtain a ring,” said Guarasci.
