Advanced Learning Program (ALPs)

Beginning in the 2026-27 school year, South Pointe Scholars will offer the Advanced Learning Program (ALPs) for middle school students who are ready for additional academic challenge. ALPs provides engaging learning experiences designed to encourage deeper thinking, problem-solving, and academic growth.

Academic Opportunities

Students in ALPs participate in learning experiences designed to challenge and engage motivated learners. Opportunities may include:

  • Advanced reading and writing assignments
  • Novel studies and group discussions
  • Research projects and presentations
  • Critical-thinking and problem-solving activities
  • Accelerated math opportunities based on student readiness

Students are encouraged to work independently, collaborate with classmates, and explore new ideas through meaningful classroom learning experiences.
