Sky Ranch Construction Progress
Sky Ranch Academy will open in the Fall of 2023 offering grades K-7, adding one grade per year through grade twelve. In the months leading up to opening, we will be hard at work constructing a building to house our amazing scholars, teachers, and staff. Regular construction updates will be posted below. While the building is near completion, we're not quite ready for visitors! We will be sure to communicate when the building is ready. Watch our calendar for upcoming events and tours!
- We are on schedule to be completed and open by the end of July.
- Parking lot paving and striping is finished.
- Furniture has been delivered and curriculum is being stocked in classrooms.
- The landscaping, athletic field, and all site work is near completion.

June 20, 2023 Update
- All rooftop HVAC units have been installed.
- Interior flooring is near completion.
- Final paving and line paint will be complete this week.
- Both the playground and asphalt basketball court are finished!
- Installation of the athletic turf field is beginning this week.

May 10, 2023 Update
- All interior painting has been completed.
- The electrical meter has been installed and set power will be turned on this week.
- The rooftop unit for the HVAC system will be delivered this month. We're close to getting that system up and running!
- Flooring is near completion.
- The parking lot and drive lines have been paved.
- Installation of the playground has begun!
The building looks near completion from the outside! The parking lot and drive lines are now complete and the playground should be installed soon.

April 10, 2023 Update
- All drywall is hung and mudded and primer paint has started.
- Electrical and plumbing are now completely roughed in.
- HVAC is nearing completion.
- On-site curb and gutter work has begun.
- On-site storm water underground piping is complete.

March 9, 2023 Update
- The roof is complete!
- The building is 100% dried in so all interior work can be completed.
- Interior mechanical, electrical, and plumbing are near completion.
- Drywall installation has begun.
- Curb and gutter construction around the site will begin in the next few weeks.

February 7, 2023 Update
- Building construction is still running on schedule!
- All wood framing is complete.
- Roofing is 75% complete.
- 50% of windows are installed.
- Interior mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installation has begun.
The building is on track to be completed by mid-summer of 2023. We can't wait to see our halls full of students and teachers!

January 9, 2023 Update
- The building is on schedule to be complete by mid-summer 2023.
- All vertical wall framing and sheathing is complete.
- The underground site utility work is 95% complete.
- All rough exterior work should be completed by the end of the month.

December 5, 2022 Update
- The concrete slab is complete.
- Framing of the vertical walls started this week.
