Rolesville Charter Academy students and their families enjoyed a day outside together focusing on nature and relaxing at an event June 30 at E. Carroll Joyner Park in Wake Forest.
Attendees sat on the grass and enjoyed being guided through a series of exercises that allowed them to focus on the sounds around them, including various instruments. Some of the instruments included drums and a rainmaker.
Afterward, the students were taught how to make a sun catcher craft to take home made out of natural items they found at the park.
Look for more upcoming events on the school website calendar. We look forward to meeting you!
