Hispanic Heritage Night Provides Important Connection for School Families

NHA Communications Team

Rolesville Charter Academy hosted a Hispanic Heritage Night, bringing together school families to enjoy traditional foods, festive decorations, dancing, and connection.

“The evening created a welcoming atmosphere where families could share their traditions and enjoy being part of our school community,” Admissions Representative Ragya Sorour said. “It was wonderful to see our students and families come together to celebrate!”

Families decorated tables to share displays about their native countries and food dishes they had prepared. Countries included Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Columbia, Nicaragua, Argentina, Cuba, El Salvador, Venezuela, and U.S. territory Puerto Rico.

“The excitement and enthusiasm throughout the evening reflected how meaningful it is for students to see their families actively involved in their school community. Events like these help strengthen the connection between home and school while creating lasting memories for our students.”
