Busing is not provided at Research Triangle Charter Academy. Families are responsible for arranging transportation to and from school each day. If you have questions about transportation, our school team is here to help.

Drop-off and Pick-up

Help keep arrival and dismissal safe and efficient by following our drop-off and pick-up procedures each school day.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Times

Drop-off: 7:45–8:30 a.m.
Pick-up: All student should be picked up no later than 4:00 p.m.

What Families Need to Know

  • Enter from Ellis Rd. entrance only.
  • During drop off, pull all the way up to the upper crosswalk near the flagpole.
  • Pick up Driveline procedures:
    • Pull all the way forward.
    • Have your number card ready.
    • Flip number card over when all children are loaded.
  • Parents walking up should proceed to the K-2 hallway doors.
  • Drive slowly and watch for students and families.
  • Be patient and courteous to other drivers.
  • Do not use your cell phone while driving through the parking lot.
  • If you need to speak with a teacher, park and visit the school office rather than stopping during the dismissal process.
