We Build Character

We make moral focus part of every school day. Virtues such as respect, perseverance, and compassion are essential to what kids need to succeed. Students learn the importance of making good decisions and doing the right thing in life.

We Expect More

Our students are taught how to make wise choices, consider consequences, and take responsibility for their actions. Our “no excuses” approach helps kids learn at a young age that strong character is developed through personal responsibility.

We Work Together

Our teachers make a point of being available to discuss your child’s progress. When parents, teachers, and students work together, they form a powerful connection between home and school – a partnership that can change a child’s life.

We Focus on Safety

Students require a safe and orderly place to learn and do their best. At Research Triangle Charter Academy, safety practices are in place which include:

  • Keeping our doors locked - all visitors are required to check in at the office before going into the school.
  • We provide safety training to all staff and students.
  • Bullying is not tolerated and students are expected to be kind to others and demonstrate respect and courtesy at all times.

Kids' Shows That Consistently Communicate a Positive Message

While you can depend on educational programming to help your child develop good socialization and learning skills, it’s great when you can find shows that also help them learn empathy, good morals, and become more aware of other cultures and the world around them. Check out this short list of options recommended by age.
