Pastries with the Principals

Taylor, MI

Middle school is an exciting time to start thinking about what comes next! We invite our Quest Academy middle school families to join us for Pastries with the Principals, a special opportunity to meet Mrs. Dwyer, Principal of NHA High School, Taylor Prep, and learn more about continuing your student’s NHA journey into high school. Enjoy a morning of pastries and coffee while hearing directly from Mrs. Dwyer about the Taylor Prep experience and the opportunities available to students as they transition from middle school to high school. Families will learn how their student can: Build on What You Know – Continue growing with a school community that understands and supports their journey. Experience a Small School Feel – Be part of a welcoming high school community where students are known, supported and valued. Keep Growing with Moral Focus – Build character, confidence, leadership and strong relationships alongside academic success. Take Academics Further – Explore rigorous coursework, AP, CTE and college-credit opportunities. Discover What’s Next – Get involved in athletics, clubs, activities and career pathways that match their interests. Prepare for the Future – Receive support from teachers and counselors as they plan for college, career and life after high school. Come enjoy a sweet treat, connect with our high school principal, and discover how the foundation your student has built at Quest can continue to grow at Taylor Prep!

Frequently Asked Questions

Top Enrollment Questions from Families Like Yours

Yes. Quest Charter Academy is a K-8 tuition-free public charter school open to all children in the area. As a public school, we're funded the same way district schools are, so there's no cost to attend.

If you're ready to apply, submit your application online through our website. It's free and only takes a few minutes.

If you're still exploring or have questions about who can apply, when to apply, or next steps, our Student Application FAQ has helpful answers.

Open Enrollment is the designated period when families can apply for the upcoming school year and receive equal consideration for available seats. If we receive more applications than we have seats, a random lottery determines which students are offered a seat and sets the order of the waiting list. If we receive fewer applications than seats, all eligible students are accepted.

See our Open Enrollment FAQ for important dates and details.

The lottery is a random selection process used to fill available seats in each grade level. A lottery is only held if the number of applications received during Open Enrollment exceeds the number of seats available.

If your child is placed on the waiting list, don't be discouraged. Seats often open throughout the spring and summer as families' plans change, and we'll send you monthly updates on your child's status.

Find more information on our Waiting List FAQ.

If your child is offered a seat, we'll contact you by email and text with next steps to complete registration. Keep your contact information current and opt in to text messages so you don't miss anything, since seats are time-sensitive and we can only hold one for so long.
