Busing may be available to students who live 1.5 miles or more from North Dayton School of Discovery.

Busing

Students who live 1.5 miles or more from the school may qualify for busing. Dayton residents can apply for Dayton Public Schools (DPS) bus transportation services through the NDSD school office. 

Trotwood Transportation is no longer providing bus services to NDSD. Trotwood residents can contact Trotwood Transportation about payments in lieu of transportation at 937-854-3050.

Drop-off and Pick-up

Help keep arrival and dismissal safe and efficient by following our drop-off and pick-up procedures each school day.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Times

Drop-off: 7:10–7:30 a.m.
Pick-up: 2:30–3:00 p.m.

What Families Need to Know

  • Enter from Turner Rd. entrance only.
  • Drive slowly and watch for students and families.
  • Be patient and courteous to other drivers.
  • Do not use your cell phone while driving through the parking lot.
  • If you need to speak with a teacher, park and visit the school office rather than stopping during the dismissal process.
