Mountain View Academy Welcomes New Staff

On Aug. 1, Mountain View Academy welcomed our staff for a new school year!

This day has been in the making for the past two months. The positive energy, excitement, and commitment to our students prevailed throughout the building.

We are proud to share that our team's hard work this summer allowed Mountain View to start this year with a full staff. Every teacher participated in the professional development day on the first day of in service days.

During a delicious back-to-school breakfast, our teachers were welcomed by the Mountain View Board, represented by Board Secretary Barry Zimmerman and Board Relations Representative Jim Dekorne, and Director of School quality Amy Ebling. Several special services providers stopped by to mingle with the teachers to share summer memories and to plan for the first days with our students.

For the next few days teachers will engage in planning and professional development to ensure a smooth start to the 2023-24 school year. We look forward to opening our doors to our students Aug. 9. Please reach out to our office at (719) 623-4116 with any last-minute questions.
