Meet Principal Jamila Bowser

Welcome to the Johnston Charter Academy. I am your principal, Jamila Bowser. Here at the academy, we focus highly on personalized instruction, critical thinking, and there's a focus on moral character.

There are so many things I could tell you about the academy and what makes us unique. But one of the things that stands out is that we're very much a community and we look forward to seeing our scholars grow and develop daily. We value parent partnership and through that partnership we work with our scholars to foster a love of learning.

Also here at the academy, I spoke a little bit about Moral Focus. We really lean hard into Moral Focus by bringing it to life every day in everything that our scholars say, see, and do. And even as a staff we model that as well. These are the things that make up the life skills that produce productive scholars in our world today.

And so with those things in mind, we're always aiming at our mission of critical thinking, personalized instruction, and high moral focused character. Welcome.

I capitalized Moral Focus and removed a duplicated "in our" from the third paragraph.
