Dress Code
Below is our approved dress code for the 2026-27 school year. The dress code at Gate City Charter Academy is flexible, affordable, and designed to encourage student success. With less distractions and competition, our scholars can focus better in school.
Uniforms may be ordered through the Uniform Store. If you need help paying for uniforms, please call the front office to discuss options.
K-8 Students
Tops
- Long or short-sleeve bright green, navy blue, gray, or white polo
- Students may also wear solid navy blue, white, or black sweaters and vests
Bottoms
- Solid khaki or navy blue pants, shorts, jumper, or scooter

Shoes
Shoes must be navy blue, black, or brown loafer style, dress shoes, tennis shoes, or closed-toe sandals. Tennis shoes may be any color.

Socks must be solid black, brown, navy blue, or white.
Tights and leggings worn underneath uniform bottoms must be solid white or navy blue.
