Canton Preparatory High School offers study abroad opportunities for our scholars. We believe that learning outside of the classroom brings education to life, it opens the door to new possibilties and unlocks untapped potential. Partnering with EF Tours, we have provided our students with several amazing educational vacations.

Past Educational Abroad Trips
Canton Preparatory High School students, parents, and staff have taken five incredible trips across the globe. Check out some of the previous places we have visited below!
2017 - Costa Rica
Canton Prep's first international trip was to experience the culture of Costa Rica! We spent eight days over Spring Break in 2017 visiting volcanoes, hot springs, beaches, zoos, Costa Rican high schools, and more.
2018 - Paris and Barcelona
Our second international trip took us on a four-day trip to Paris, followed by a four-day trip to Barcelona. Paris was as beautiful as we all imagined, seeing the Eiffel Tower lit up at night while riding a boat on the river before also seeing the rich history of the Louvre Museum. The trip only got better experiencing all the beauty, culture, fun, and energy that Barcelona has to offer with its beaches, history, shops, and experiences.
2022 - Dominican Republic
Back in the summer of 2022, Canton Prep visited the beautiful country of the Dominican Republic. One of the most fun and thrilling activities was white water rafting while it was raining! Other fun activities included taking a boat to a sandbar in the middle of the Caribbean Sea and zip lining through the forest.
2023 - Egypt
During Spring Break of 2023, Canton Prep partnered up with the other NHA high schools and experienced their first trip to Africa by spending eight days in Egypt! The coolest highlight of the trip was riding camels right next to the Great Pyramid. We also experienced a three-day cruise up the Nile River, stopping off at various cities to see all the culture and history that Egypt has to offer.
"In 2017, Canton Prep started its journey of traveling the world by going to Costa Rica. Three staff members and eighteen students and parents experienced an amazing education vacation where they visited a volcano and hot springs, saw a Costa Rican high school, kayaked in a lake, swam in the Pacific Ocean, journeyed to an environmental preserve full of animals and nature, hiked to a waterfall, and much more!"
