Canton Charter Academy was ranked fourth on the Best Charter Middle Schools in Michigan list, according to U.S. News & World Report in its 2024 school rankings.

The school, which has outperformed the local district for 14 years, was praised for its middle school math and reading performance. Both middle school math and reading performance levels were rated well above expectations.

National Heritage Acadmies (NHA) charter schools dominate the list of Michigan's top charter middle schools. An article on The Livingston Post's website summarizes NHA school's success.

This marks the third year of the U.S. News & World Report ranking elementary and middle schools. The organization has provided go-to resources for parents and students at the high school and college levels for years.
