Transportation
Brooklyn Scholars Charter School provides bus transportation according to the specifications of the New York City Department of Education. Otherwise, parents are responsible for getting their children to and from school each day.
Busing
Transportation eligibility is determined on the basis of the student's grade level and the distance between the student's residence and school.
Students must be residents of Brooklyn and registered at the school. Costs vary.
Apply within the school for yellow buses or inquire about public bus (costs may be waived or partially waived).
Drop-off and Pick-up
Help keep arrival and dismissal safe and efficient by following our drop-off and pick-up procedures each school day.
Drop-Off & Pick-Up Times
Drop-off: 7:00–7:20 a.m.
Pick-up: Starts at 3:00 p.m.
What Families Need to Know
- Enter from Linden Blvd. entrance only.
- Drive slowly and watch for students and families.
- Be patient and courteous to other drivers.
- Do not use your cell phone while driving through the parking lot.
- If you need to speak with a teacher, park and visit the school office rather than stopping during the dismissal process.
