Transportation
Brooklyn Excelsior Charter School provides bus transportation according to the specifications of the New York City Department of Education. Otherwise, parents are responsible for getting their children to and from school each day.
Busing
Transportation eligibility is determined on the basis of the student's grade level and the distance between the student's residence and school – students living within 1–5 miles receive priority.
Cost: Free
K–6th: Designated school routes provided by OPT
7th–8th: Receive Metrocard for city bus
Drop-off and Pick-up

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Times
Drop-off: 7:15–7:50 a.m.
Pick-up: Starts at 2:45 p.m.
What Families Need to Know
- Pick K–2nd graders up at the door on the precint side of the building.
- Pick 3rd–8th graders up at the doors in the back of the building.
- Drive slowly and watch for students and families.
- Be patient and courteous to other drivers.
- Do not use your cell phone while driving through the parking lot.
- If you need to speak with a teacher, park and visit the school office rather than stopping during the dismissal process.
