Brooklyn Dreams Charter School provides bus transportation according to the specifications of the New York City Department of Education. Otherwise, parents are responsible for getting their children to and from school each day.

Busing

Transportation eligibility is determined on the basis of the student's grade level and the distance between the student's residence and school – students living within 1–5 miles receive priority.

Cost: Free

K–5th: Designated school routes provided by OPT
6th–8th: Receive Metrocard for city bus

Drop-off and Pick-up

Help keep arrival and dismissal safe and efficient by following our drop-off and pick-up procedures each school day.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Times

Drop-off: 7:00–7:50 a.m.
Pick-up: 3:00 p.m.

What Families Need to Know

  • K-2 enter from Parkville
  • 3-5 enter through church side between Parkville and Newkirk
  • 6-8 enter from Newkirk
  • Be patient with fellow drivers
  • Stay off your cell phone
