College Counseling

Guiding students towards a successful future is the heart of Westfield Preparatory High School’s College Counseling program. We provide individualized guidance and support to our students as we understand that each student's journey is unique. Our program is equipped with the latest resources and tools to help students understand their post-high school options. Our staff is committed to empowering your child to make confident, informed decisions about their future.

Effective scheduling is key to successfully fulfilling graduation requirements and navigating the college application process. With the right guidance from our staff, students can establish a plan, stay organized, and ensure they are meeting these criteria.

Course scheduling and registration occurs school-wide, twice each academic year.

College Visits

Learning everything about a college allows students to gain valuable insights into their future and can greatly influence their future. We understand how important visiting a college campus is in the decision-making process. Juniors and seniors are offered the opportunity to go on college campus visits and attend college-representative-led presentations hosted on Westfield Prep's campus.

Juniors and seniors are given two excused absences each academic year to visit a college or university of their choice. To receive the excused absence, students must complete the proper forms with the school's front office two weeks before their scheduled visit.

Juniors and seniors who wish to attend college presentations here at Westfield Prep should sign up in the College Counseling team’s office no later than the Friday before the scheduled presentation.
