Dress Code

A flexible and cost effective dress code has been established at our school to encourage academic success while reducing distractions and competition. Implementing a simple, flexible, cost effective dress code promotes student learning and increased academic instruction time.

Uniform Store

Tops

Colors

Bright green
Note: A bright green polo purchased only through Image Builders is encouraged
 

Type

Short- or long-sleeved polo. May be purchased through Image Builders.
Middle school students have the option of wearing a long or short sleeve white dress shirt with a custom bright green and navy blue striped tie. Ties purchased only through Image Builders are encouraged.
 

Cold Weather

Solid-colored sweaters or vests that are navy may be worn over the collared uniform shirt.
 

Add’l

No hoods, stripes, logos, patterns, or fur are permitted.
Shirts must be tucked in at all times.
Prevail wear may be worn on Wednesdays.

Hair & Hygiene

Colors

Hair must be of natural tones.
 

Style

For boys, hairstyles must be conservative with hair being off the collar.
The personal grooming of students should be in accord with the standards set by the uniform dress code. Students should be clean and neat when at school.
Makeup must be in good taste.

Not Allowed

Extreme hairstyles and colored faux hair are not permitted.
Visible markings, tattoos, or writing on the skin are not permitted.

Bottoms

Colors

Type

Slacks, dress pants, shorts, skirts, skorts, and jumpers
 

Add’l

All bottoms must be one inch longer than the fingertips when the student’s arms hang at their sides.
Only solid white, black, or navy tights or leggings may be worn under skirts.

Not Allowed

Sweatpants, wide-leg pants, cargo pants, pants with multiple large pockets, drawstring pants, sagging pants, and low-risers are not permitted. Denim and jean materials are not permitted.
No clothing items may be wrapped around the waist.

Hats & Accessories

Colors

Solid black, brown, or navy dress shoes are encouraged. 
Conservative colored socks or tights must be worn at all times.
 

Add’l

Jewelry and accessories must be in good taste. Only ear piercings are allowed. 

Not Allowed

Hats and head scarves may not be worn in the building.
Belts are not allowed to be decorative.
Body piercing ornaments are not permitted.
Girls are not permitted to carry purses.

Miscellaneous

Add’l

Clothing must fit the individual in a modest fashion i.e. No tight fitting pants, shirts, low cut shirts, etc.

Not Allowed

Clothing may not be ripped or torn. Bare midriffs are not permitted.
Tattoos are not permitted.
Wearing, carrying, and displaying gang paraphernalia, names, signs, or symbols of gang membership are prohibited.
