Dress Code

A flexible and cost effective dress code has been established at our school to encourage academic success while reducing distractions and competition. Implementing a simple, flexible, cost effective dress code promotes student learning and increased academic instruction time.

All Students

Students in grades K–5 must wear white or powder blue, black or burgundy shirts that have collars and sleeves (button-down or polo).

Students in middle school grades must wear navy, heathered grey or hunter green button down or polo shirt.

Shoes must be worn at all times. Shoes must have a closed toe and sandals must have a back strap.

Hats of any kind are not permitted.

Clothing must fit appropriately - meaning it should not be too tight or too loose. for example: pants may not sag below the waist or be skin tight.

Body piercings and tattoos are not permitted.

Wearing, carrying, and displaying gang paraphernalia, names, signs, or symbols of gang membership is prohibited.

Sweatshirts and sweaters may be worn during the school day. They must be one of the following solid colors: gray, black, white, navy, or red. The must be free of symbols or writing that is larger than one inch in height. Landmark branded items are permitted.

One small set of earrings is allowed. Earlobe gauges and earrings that dangle are not permitted.

Boys

Boys must wear navy or khaki pants or shorts. Shirts must be tucked into pants or shorts at all times.

Girls

Girls in grades K–8 must wear navy or khaki pants, skirts, skorts, jumpers, or shorts that are no more than three inches above the knees.

Solid-colored socks and tights that are white or a dark color are permitted.
