A flexible and cost effective dress code has been established at our school to encourage academic success while reducing distractions and competition. Implementing a simple, flexible, cost effective dress code promotes student learning and increased academic instruction time.

Cold WeatherSolid-colored knit sweaters are acceptable. A collared shirt must be worn under sweaters and vests. Sweaters with hoods are not permitted.
Add’lShirts must be tucked in at all times (grades 2-8 only).
Hair & Hygiene
ColorsHair must be of natural tones.
StyleFor boys, hairstyles must be conservative with hair being off the collar.
The personal grooming of students should be in accord with the standards set by the uniform dress code. Students should be clean and neat when at school.
Not AllowedExtreme hairstyles and colored faux hair are not permitted.

Add’lSkirts, skorts, and shorts should fit at the waist and may be no shorter than two inches above the knees.
Pants must fit appropriately and may not be too tight or too loose.
Pants must fit at the waist and may not be worn below the waist or sagging.
Not AllowedNo jeans of any color, no athletic/yoga type pants, and no leggings as pants are allowed.
Hats & Accessories
ColorsLeggings, tights and socks must be solid color –no patterns or prints.
Add’lA reasonable number of modest earrings that are shorter than 1 inch longs are permitted.
Not AllowedBody piercing ornaments are not permitted.
No shoes with wheels, slippers or flip-flops may be worn.
Add’lClothing must fit the individual in a modest fashion i.e. No tight fitting pants, shirts, low cut shirts, etc.
Not AllowedClothing may not be ripped or torn. Bare midriffs are not permitted.
Tattoos are not permitted.
Wearing, carrying, and displaying gang paraphernalia, names, signs, or symbols of gang membership are prohibited.
