Summer Discovery Program at Center Line

Center Line Preparatory Academy is excited to partner with United Way’s Summer Discovery Program, a free program that gives your child fun and engaging learning experiences beyond the school year. Students can explore their interests, build academic and social skills, and stay active through a variety of activities.

With Summer Discovery, your child will take part in hands-on learning that sparks curiosity and supports personal growth. From creative arts and sports to exciting field trips, students will learn and have fun in a safe and supportive environment. See below for program details and how to register.

Registration

Students must be enrolled at Center Line and entering grades K–8 in Fall 2026 to participate in the program.

Summer Discovery Program FAQs

Have questions about the day-to-day details? Review the information below to learn about schedules, meals, and program guidelines so you can feel prepared.

Is transportation provided?

Students must be dropped off and picked up each day. Please have your child dropped off by 8:55 a.m. and picked up by 3:55 p.m.

Are meals provided for my child?

Yes. Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day at no additional cost. 

Are there before and after care options available?

Yes. Optional before care will be provided from 8:00 a.m. to 8:55 a.m. and after care is available from 3:00 p.m. to 3:55 p.m.

Is there a dress code?

Students do not need to wear their school uniform but must follow the dress-down policy. 

What are the attendance requirements?

Students may have up to six absences during the program. Students may be dismissed from the program after exceeding this limit.

What is the behavior and late pick-up policy?

A 3-strike policy is in place for behavior and late pick-up. Students may be dismissed from the program after three incidents.
