Learning is a lifelong process that extends beyond the walls of the classroom. At Canton Charter Academy, students can explore their interests, learn new skills, and make new friends through a variety of extracurricular activities. Learn more about what we offer below.
Technology
We offer one-to-one technology, with each student receiving their own Chromebook.
Specials
Along with academics, our scholars will be exposed to the arts and more. We offer specials like music, PE, technology, and visual arts.
Electives
Our 5th-8th grade scholars will be able to choose elective classes. We offer band, book club, career exploration, creative writing, digital media, exercise fitness, financial literacy, foreign language, graphic design, health and fitness, journalism, leadership, math in sports, music appreciation, musical theater, sculpture, social studies, team sports, and yearbook. Not all electives are available for all grades.
In-School Programs
In addition to specials and electives, Canton Charter Academy also offers other in-school program activities such as: Moral Focus Assemblies, National Junior Honor Society, Spelling Bee, Student Council, and Student of the Month.
