Programs & Activities

Learning is a lifelong process that extends beyond the walls of the classroom. At Bennett Venture Academy, children can explore their interests, learn new skills and make new friends through a variety of extracurricular activities. More details about the programs and activities we offer are below.

Kindergarten - 2nd Grade
Activities and Clubs

S.T.E.M.

S.T.E.M. includes: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. We use this model to guide our scholars in authentic learning activities.

Community Service

Moral focus virtues are practiced beyond the classroom! Scholars who participate in service projects get the chance to model compassion and courage by working to meet local needs.

Field Trips

Each year we take learning outside the classroom and invite parent volunteers. A variety of age-appropriate outings are planned for our scholars.

Exercise Club

The objectives of this club include improving health and self-esteem. Students meet to exercise together and learn good habits for life.

Student Council

Our student council members help in a variety of school and community events. The council represents the voice of our students and encourages school pride.

Book Fair

This school-wide event is a great chance for our students to shop for new books. You'll find many titles in a wide range of interests and levels, including popular authors and series.

Carnival

At the end of the year we have a school wide carnival! Parents are encouraged to attend this family fun event for all ages.
