Mountain View Academy is a tuition-free public charter school in Colorado Springs serving students in grades K-8. We shape instruction to build on the strengths and abilities of each student and integrate Moral Focus™ lessons into every school day. As a result, our students are well-prepared from kindergarten through eighth grade. A Stanford University study found National Heritage Academies partner-school students gained the equivalent of 3.5 months of additional learning each year compared to peers.

Our Kindergarten Readiness Camps are a short, fun, daytime experience that help preschoolers feel confident and excited about school — all while introducing our Moral Focus Program. This event is open to any newly applied or interested kindergarten scholars and families! Each one-hour session includes a hands-on activity, time with a kindergarten teacher, a snack, and playground time. February is Courage = Helping children practice being brave by exploring a classroom, meeting teachers, and trying something new. These camps give families a relaxed, authentic look at kindergarten life while helping children build confidence in a school setting. We hope you can join us!
