Along with telling his story of how being bullied as a kid led to him becoming a national champion, Wilhelm performed award-winning BMX tricks recently at an assembly for Cross Creek scholars. Wilhelm holds a mark recognized by the Guinness World Records for the most tail whips, is a three-time X Games medalist and two-time U.S. national champion and has performed on “America’s Got Talent.”

After grabbing their attention, students heard from Wilhelm on how he persevered and the kindness, positivity, and the difference a person can make.
