Three outstanding Willow Charter Academy teachers were nominated for the Lafayette Education Foundation’s (LEF) annual Teacher Awards. They learned about their nomination when LEF representatives paid them a surprise visit on Dec. 6.
Willow‘s nominees include: Jacqueline Conley (second grade), Ada Faulk-Thoms (fourth grade), and Julian King (music).
A red-carpet event is being held for nominees at the Heymann Performing Arts Center in Lafayette on Thursday, Jan. 18. During this formal event, awards for the top finalist in four categories will be announced, including elementary school, middle school, high school, and inspirational.
