Why Warrendale Charter Academy?

Founded on academic excellence, moral focus, parental partnership, and student responsibility, Warrendale Charter Academy is a school like no other – one that can lead to a lifetime of success. We set high standards, focus on real-world skills, problem solving, and how to be a good citizen. Our exceptional teachers meet students at their ability level and challenge them to go beyond. Our students also draft a social contract that reinforces their commitment to their school, their teacher, and each other.

The Franklin Cider Mill recently made a donation of two pies to our school. Manager Marlene Hamlyn encouraged all of our Warrendale families to visit the mill this Fall. Parent Shirley Smith was the winner of one of the pies. Pictured with her are two children Cydney and Darrell Forman and her nephew Jalen Jackson. Mr. Glass was presented with the second pie. We thanked him for all of his hard work!

While visiting the Warrendale School Statistics on line, I am concerned about the pupil to student ratio. The stats say 20/21 students per Teacher. How old are those records, they simply are not true. My Granddaughter is in 2nd grade with 31 kids, horrible, 2nd grade happens to be a vital grade for most, because math and reading are the priority. I look forward to some changes, especially for the children.
