National Boss Day: Last week staff members showed their appreciation to administration on Bosses Day! It is a time for many workers to appreciate their employers. Administration was very appreciative of all of their gifts.
Support Your Teachers: We often have students that come back to visit former teachers and give us updates on their lives. Over the past three weeks we have had over 15 former eighth grade students from last year come back to thank their 8th grade teachers Ms. Ruiz (Math and Social Studies) and Mrs. Horvath (ELA and Science. Last Friday former students Breyana Howell and Destiney Evan stopped by while on their way to school to visit with their former teachers. Breayana and her aunt surprised Ms. Horvath and Ms. Ruiz with gifts of appreciation . Recent students have expressed they are ahead of their classmates in their math classes and one student is in the process of moving to honors math. Students that did not enjoy science are finding that they actually like the subject. They now realize they learned information that has prepared them to be successful in high school. A few students recorded a motivational video to be shown to present eighth grade students.
