This important event will provide a thorough overview of what to expect with your new middle school schedule. Students will have the opportunity to explore classrooms, participate in fun activities with teachers, and get a preview of their upcoming year. Parents will hear from our leadership team about how our middle school education sets the foundation for high school and beyond. From college-preparatory academics to a wide range of clubs and sports, we offer a well-rounded learning experience for every student. Dinner snack stand will be available for all families. We can’t wait to see you there and help you and your child feel confident about the transition ahead!
3rd & 5th Grade Orientation Information Night Join us for an important and informative evening designed to support your scholar’s academic success! During this session, we will review key expectations for 3rd and 5th grade, including an overview of North Carolina’s Read to Achieve program. This program, is a part of the Excellent Public Schools Act, ensures that all students are reading at grade level by the end of third grade. Scholars who are not yet proficient on End-of-Grade (EOG) assessments will receive additional support through targeted instruction, reading camps, and other interventions. Families will also learn about promotion pathways, including mid-year promotion opportunities. This is a great opportunity to ask questions, gain clarity, and partner with us to ensure your child’s success. We look forward to seeing you there!
