Learning is a lifelong process that extends beyond the walls of the classroom. At Warrendale Charter Academy, children can explore their interests, learn new skills and make new friends through a variety of extracurricular activities. More details about the programs and activities we offer are below.

S.T.E.M.

S.T.E.M. includes: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. We use this model to guide our scholars in authentic learning activities.

Music

This program develops each students potential to gain basic music skills, while fostering a love of music for life-long enjoyment.

Art Club

Young artists come together to practice technique and work on art projects.

Book Club

Readers gather to share thoughts and explore ideas through "book talk." The perfect club for scholars who enjoy a shared love for reading.

Black History Programs

Every February, we celebrate African-American history and culture during school events. Our scholars also celebrate through reading, writing, and art.

Band

We offer band for our students to express themselves through music and teamwork.

Community Service

Moral focus virtues are practiced beyond the classroom! Scholars who participate in service projects get the chance to model compassion and courage by working to meet local needs.

Music

This program develops each students potential to gain basic music skills, while fostering a love of music for life-long enjoyment.

Dance

We encourage our dancers to express themselves through movement. Group or solo performances may also be taught as a part of this program.
