Good Afternoon, Triumph Families!
Our PTO is holding the fall Box Tops for Education Challenge! Turn your Box Tops into your classroom teacher tomorrow through Oct. 14th and the classroom in each wing that brings in the most Box Tops will win a pizza party!!!!
On Tuesday, boys’ soccer and girls’ volleyball have their first games of the season at Quest. Go Patriots! Also remember that all paperwork and sports fees are due prior to the first game.
Wednesday, September 21st, is a $1 pizza day.
Thursday, there are soccer and volleyball games at home.
Friday we have our Middle School Fall Bash for 5th -8th graders from 5:00pm-7:00pm. We will have a dance, an interactive gaming truck, human hamster balls, and a photo booth. Cost for the event is $3 per student, but if you bring a non-Triumph 5th – 8th grade student, you both are free! There will also be concessions available for purchase. It will be a blast!

If you are a 6th grader interested in going on the Phantom of the Opera field trip, a $25 deposit is due by September 26th.
Wednesday, September 28th is Dining to Donate at Applebee’s! Bring your Dining to Donate flier when you eat and Applebee’s will donate a portion of your bill to our school’s athletic fund!
Our first Student of the Month assembly will be held Friday, September 30th. This award recognizes 1 student per classroom for demonstrating the moral focus virtue of the month. The virtue for September is Wisdom. Every day we begin our morning with a virtue quote of the day. Teachers and staff then reinforce the virtue throughout the day. Ask your student what they learned about wisdom each day!
Friday, September 30th is our Family Outdoor Movie Night from 7:30pm-9:00pm. The event is free and everyone will receive a fee bag of popcorn (while supplies last). Concessions will be available for purchase. This event is not limited to only Triumph Families, so feel free to bring friends and family! The movie we will be featuring is Zootopia!
School picture day is Wednesday, October 5th. Picture day is a free jean day too!
The Connie Niemi Memorial 5K will be held on Saturday, October 8th at 9:00am at Sterling State Park. To register go to: runsignup.com/Race/MI/Monroe/ConnieNiemiMemorial5K
by Sept. 30th. All proceeds will be donated to Gabby’s Ladder.
Triumph’s Annual Trunk or Treat will be held on Saturday, Oct. 22nd from 2:00-4:00 pm. We are looking for families who would like to sponsor a trunk during this event. We will be sending home a flier soon with registration details!
I’m excited to announce that Triumph has again outperformed our local school districts and the state in every subject on the State of Michigan 2015-2016 MStep. Even with scores that are above our local districts and state, we continue to strive for superior academic instruction for all students.
