Dress Code

The dress code policy at  Taylor Preparatory High School helps us ensure mutual respect for all while providing a focused, comfortable, disciplined learning environment. Uniforms must be worn throughout the entire academic day including after-school electives, tutoring, detention, and field trips.

Tops

Short or long-sleeve collared polo or oxford button-down that is white, navy blue, or embroidered black.

Solid-colored white, navy blue, gray, or embroidered black sweater or fleece that are cardigan or V-neck pullover, zipper, or button-down style are permitted. No hoods.

Undershirts (worn under dress code shirt) must be white, navy blue, or black.

Spirit wear shirts are allowed any day of the week.

Navy blue, khaki, or black dress pants or shorts.

Girls may also wear skirts or capris that are navy blue, khaki, or black.

No jeans. Leggings or tights may not be worn as pants.

Accessories


Belts may be white, navy blue, brown, black, or khaki and should be free from spikes, jewels, or other objects. No suspenders.

Socks (athletic, dress, knee high), tights, and hosiery may be white, navy blue, orange, or black. No fishnet or open weave hosiery.

Neck scarves or ties may be white, navy blue, orange, or black, and may be solid or patterned.

Shoes may be white, navy blue, gray, brown, or black and should be closed-toe and matching dress or athletic wear. Shoes maybe be multi-dress code colored.
