Luke Apap won first place in the Community Financial Presidential essay contest. His winning essay was featured at the Plymouth Historical Museum on Feb. 15.
Apap wrote about the president he’d like to most have lunch with: John F. Kennedy.
“We’re both interested in aerospace and he was able to put a man on the moon,” wrote Apap. “ JFK is also most like an average man because he had colossal successes and sizeable failures during his two years in office.”
In addition to being awarded the first place certificate, Luke received $50 in prize money and lunch for the class of his choice with the Community Financial Presidential CEO, Bill Lawton.
