Students at Matthews Charter Academy used their creativity on Saturday, April 1, during a Cardboard Challenge at the school.
Inspired by Caine’s Arcade, an organization that promotes use of cardboard in art, the free event promoted student creativity and family fun. Scholars designed innovative creations using cardboard and other materials. Scholars and families also enjoyed free refreshments and face painting.
Cardboard, tape, scissors, and crayons were provided for families to create their own art to take home.
With a variety of creative projects, students did not disappoint!
