Learning is a lifelong process that extends beyond the walls of the classroom. At Lansing Charter Academy, students can explore their interests, learn new skills and make new friends through a variety of extracurricular activities. More details about the programs and activities we offer are below.

Chess Club

Chess can increase focus, critical thinking, and problem solving skills. Players practice good sportsmanship and use logic in this friendly, competitive club.

Book Fair

This school-wide event is a great chance for our students to shop for new books. You'll find many titles in a wide range of interests and levels, including popular authors and series.

Science Fair

Our junior scientists showcase their findings and experiments at the science fair. Families are invited to join the fun and discovery.

Black History Programs

Every February, we celebrate African-American history and culture during school events. Our scholars also celebrate through reading, writing, and art.
