All proceeds will go to the Kelly Cambria Cancer Fund and the Steve Vincel Memorial Fund Silent Auction and Raffle June 13, 2015 10am Tail feathers Bar 120th and Hwy 85 $5.00 in advance (Contact Cathy Teter or Jamey Buckalew for tickets, cteter@southadamsfire.org or jbuckalew@northglennambulance.com ) $6.00 at the door Kelly’s Story- I would like to tell you about a bright energetic and giving woman who just over a year ago, was diagnosed with lymphoma. The battle ensued, and Kelly came out on top. Recently, Kelly received the devastating news that she had ovarian cancer. Kelly never blinked. She took on her new challenge just like everything else in her life, head on! Kelly chose a career as a paramedic, however her passion has always been to help those less fortunate. For roughly 20 years, Kelly has worked endlessly to help families less fortunate during the holidays. Unable to work while in treatment, and medical bills beginning to pour in, it is our turn to give back to someone who has had such a positive effect on our communities. Steve’s Story- Steve Vincel was a South Adams County Volunteer Firefighter for over 20 years, Steve served as a Fire District board member for 21 years. He was truly dedicated to the community. As many firefighters he too was affected by cancer and lost his fight on January 15, 2009. Two strong and dedicated people who have changed the lives of so many. We are combing our efforts to assist not only Kelly but also others affected by cancer. Come out and support a truly worthy cause!!
