Electives & Extracurricular Activities
We encourage students to spend time getting involved in clubs, teams, music, and more to foster friendships and build community. We offer students a variety of activities through elective classes and before or after-school clubs. Below is an example of what we typically offer. Clubs may change based on volunteers and student interest.
Technology
We offer one-to-one technology, with each student receiving their own Chromebook.
Electives
Our scholars will be able to choose elective classes. We offer 2D/3D art, advanced PE, American Sign Language, concert band, concert choir, foundational art, health, intro band, intro choir, intro to computer science, PE, publications, small ensemble, Spanish, technology, video game design, and web design.
Extracurricular Activities
Our scholars are able to participate in various extracurricular activities. We currently offer animal service group, art club, drama, guitar/song writing, jazz ensemble, model united nations, recycle club, red paperclip, strategic gaming, strength training, stuff you should know, and video game design.
In-School Programs
In addition to electives and extracurriculars, Grand River Preparatory High School also offers other in-school programs such as: community service, Moral Focus, National Honor Society, and student council.
College Prep
Grand River Preparatory High School offers college prep opportunites to scholars. These opportunities include: college campus tours, college counseling, dual-enrollment courses, and Early College Program.

Athletics at Grand River Preparatory High School
Athletics at Grand River Preparatory High School are meant to teach and endorse long-term physical and mental health among students. Students learn to collaborate, compete, set goals, and abide by the rules of fair play.
