Grand River held its first Social Studies Showcase in October that included a family passport project.
The night was a culmination of the trimester’s research and curriculum about various countries. Students showcased their learning through a living museum, where some students dressed up as influential people from the country they researched and acted out parts of history. Others rapped the Bill of Rights or gave a power point presentation about their country. As families saw each country they had a passport stamped.
The students did a great job highlighting what they learned!
