Forsyth Academy third-grade students took what they learned in the classroom about business and applied it to a new venture they led for three days - The Snowflake Café.
Students ran the café with teachers, parents, and community partners serving as their guests from Jan. 23-25 in the afternoon.
Customers were seated by a hostess, ordered off the menu, or had food delivered to classrooms. Students gained experience in supply and demand, making change, and communication skills all in one hands-on activity.
Items on the menu included pudding, fruit cups, nachos, Gogurts, juice boxes, and popcorn. The annual café is a fundraiser for the third-grade classes.
Great job students!
