Detroit Premier Raises $500 at 21st Annual Walk For Wishes

Detroit Premier Academy came together to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation by participating in the 21st Annual Walk For Wishes®. There were over 100 attendees representing Detroit Premier at Walk Day at the Detroit Zoo, including staff, parents, and students.

Walk For Wishes® - Southeast Michigan is a Make-A-Wish® Michigan fundraiser that celebrates the more than 9,500 wishes that have already been granted, while raising funds for future wishes. The event was powered by wish families, volunteers, companies, donors, and friends.

“The Detroit Premier family has been personally impacted by cancer, and we wanted to help make other children’s wishes come true,” said Robin Burrus, registrar at Detroit Premier.

Attendees participated in a variety of activities, including building a miniature sailboat with Home Depot, face and nail painting, bubble stations, a frog exhibit, exercise activities, to name a few.

Through participating in Walk For Wishes activities, Detroit Premier was able to raise $500 to donate to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Keep up the great work, Detroit Premier!
