Advantage Charter Academy Earns Top Gains Honors

Advantage Charter Academy earned ‘Top Gains’ honors from the state of Louisiana for their school performance score on the 2016-17 state assessments.
 
In order to be earn ‘Top Gains’ honors, school needed to improve their scores on the state accountability system by more than 10 points year-over-year.
 
Advantage Charter Academy was the only school in the City of Baker to earn this designation and one of 112 schools in the state.
 
“I am incredibility proud to share this award with our teachers, scholars, and parents,” said the principal of Advantage Charter Academy. “This was truly a team effort, and everyone played a part in raising our test scores. As a school we strive to provide the best educational opportunity to local students and this shows we are on the right path.”
