Achieve Charter Academy Wins Schools of Excellence Award

Press Release

CANTON, Mich, July 29, 2014—National Heritage Academies (NHA), one of the nation’s largest charter school management companies, awarded Achieve Charter Academy with two Eagle Award. This is the 14th year NHA honored its top performing schools with Eagle Awards.
Achieve Charter Academy earned an Eagle Award for Schools of Excellence which means the school had superior performance in academic achievement and full enrollment for the 2012-2013 school year.
This award is a new category this year, but is similar to the coveted School of the Year award that Achieve won in 2012.
“We are proud to receive this top honor,” said Achieve Principal Jennifer Conley. “Our teachers are committed to academic excellence, and our students have the drive to reach for their full potential.”
Achieve also brought home the Eagle Award for Student Growth meaning the students are at or above the 90th percentile for blended fall to spring and spring to spring growth on the Northwest Evaluation Association assessment.
Along with Schools of Excellence and Academic Growth, NHA rewards schools in other areas including: First Year Teacher Effectiveness, Employee Engagement, Parent Satisfaction, and Student Attendance.
NHA’s system of schools is designed to eliminate achievement gaps and provide school choice to families, with the clear objective of preparing children for success in high school, college, and beyond.
National Heritage Academies is a charter school management company operating 76 schools in nine states for the 2013-2014 school year. It is currently serving more than 50,000 students in grades kindergarten through eighth.
