Willow Charter Academy announced Ms. Jennifer Gordon as the principal for the 2018-19 school year.
Gordon most recently served as the dean of intervention at Willow Charter Academy, as well as serving as an interim dean at Advantage Charter Academy, a sister school to Willow.
“I am so excited to serve as principal of Willow Charter Academy,” Gordon said. “I love getting to positively impact the lives of students and staff. Every student deserves as high-quality education, and I thrive on helping to make sure we meet those needs.”
Ms. Gordon has more than 15 years of educational experience as well as a variety of leadership training. She holds a bachelor’s degree from University of Georgia, a master’s degree from Grand Canyon University, and an education specialist certification from Walden University. Ms. Gordon also is currently pursuing a doctorate of education from Kennesaw State University.
