On Friday, May 18, fifth-grade students at South Pointe Scholars participated in a poetry slam. The class worked on a poetry until for more than a month. During the unit, they learned about different types of poems in literature.
To celebrate their hard work, the teachers decided to give the students an opportunity to share their favorite poem. The students and teachers had a blast listening to the different type of poems.
