Regent Park Holds Daddy/Daughter Dance

More than 250 girls and their father figures stepped onto the gym floor to move to the beat at the first Regent Park Daddy Daughter Dance, June 2.

The event was held to celebrate fathers and grandfathers.

“This [event] was a huge success thanks to the efforts of Scott Greiner, fifth-grade teacher, and Tiffany Williams, dean of intervention,” said Donell James, middle school dean at Regent Park Charter Academy.

Keynote speaker Jesse Jackson III talked about ways that parents can help make their students successful.

What a great way to end the school year!
