For 22 years Renaldo O’Neal has been working with students, helping them to achieve their academic goals. This seasoned educator will now serve as the principal of North Dayton School of Discovery.“I am excited to begin my time at North Dayton School of Discovery,” said O’Neal. “I know that there is an outstanding foundation at this school and I cannot wait to help build upon that as we prepare students for success in the future.”
O’Neal comes to NDSD from Springfield City Schools where he most recently served as principal. Prior to his time at Springfield, O’Neal served in a variety of capacities at Dayton Public Schools over his 22-year tenure.
“As an educator, there is no greater task that to ensure students are growing both socially and academically and reaching their full potential,” O’Neal said. “I am confident that with partnership between the teachers, parents, and leadership team our students will continue to reach, if not exceed, their academic goals. I look forward to meeting our students when they return to the classroom this fall.”
O’Neal holds a bachelor’s degree from Wright State University, a master’s degree from Central State University, and a principal licensure from the University of Dayton.
