Landmark Academy at Reunion Honors Board President with Field Naming

Landmark Academy at Reunion recently honored and recognized Tim Gallagher, board president at Landmark, during a surprise celebration naming the new turf field after him.

School staff and members of the board gathered at the field to surprise him with a special sign, presented by Peg Kastberg, principal at Landmark. Gallagher has been board president since the school opened in 2007. He is a well-known active leader at Landmark and within the Reunion community.

“Mr. Tim Gallagher is such a huge advocate for Landmark and a major part of our Reunion community,” said Shondel Johnson, admissions representative at Landmark Academy. “We were thrilled to surprise him with this!”

Gallagher is a retired United Airlines Pilot who graduated from the Airforce Academy with an undergraduate degree. As the founding board president of Landmark Academy, he has shared that he is happy to tell the story of how the school was brought to Reunion to fill a significant community need.

“Mr. Gallagher is so very genuine,” said Johnson. “He cares about our students for the right reasons. He is a great listener, communicator, and a terrific partner for Landmark.”

Gallagher also volunteers as a crossing guard for the school, and through that experience, he has gotten to know many students who attend Landmark. In his free time, he travels to Montana to visit one of his daughters. His other daughter works at Landmark and has been with the school since its opening.

Congratulations, Mr. Gallagher!
