Summer Program: Patriots Read

About 65 Greensboro Academy students participated in a reading program at the school throughout the summer to keep up their literacy skills.

Through the program students were able to check out books from the school library. They were required to write a book report or draw a picture about the book and then would receive a prize.

The program was held five times through the summer. Students also made a craft, had a story time, watched a movie and enjoyed snacks.

"It was a great program this year," said Angie Stine-Murray, library technology aide at Greensboro Academy, who organized the program this year.
