Admissions Representatives Spruce Forsyth for Spring

North Carolina's NHA admissions representatives spent a day in the rain doing gardening projects at Forsyth Academy to spruce up the area for spring. They installed flower beds to the entrance of the school and put planters up around the carpool lane.

Last spring, admissions representatives gardened at PreEminent Charter School. Carol Longoria, admissions manager, came up with the idea as a way for the admissions team to informally bond and help their schools.

“We did this again because of the positive response last year,” said Dan Owen, admissions representative at PreEminent. “It really helps show our appreciation for the schools we work in.”

Lowe's donated over 300 dollars worth of supplies, including soil, fertilizer, and various plants. Admissions representatives from Gate City, PreEminent, Research Triangle, Winterville, and Johnston all helped in the project.
